DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS ANNOUNCES MILLING AND PAVING WORK THROUGHOUT CITY
(7/23/2008) NEW HAVEN- The New Haven Department of Public Works has announced its upcoming road repairs schedule. Residents should look out for paper postings in their neighborhoods reminding them not to park on affected streets during posted dates and times. Milling will begin in the downtown area on the evening of July 28. Paving will follow the milling operation beginning on the evening of July 30 Downtown. The remaining streets scheduled for these improvements will be worked on after the Downtown component has been completed and will be affected primarily during daylight hours. A work progress list will be updated daily. All streets involved in this project will be paper posted for no parking prior to milling and paving activity.

Residents who frequently park in these areas should pay special attention to posted signs on streets the day before work commences.
